ALMOST £100,000 is to be spent on upgrading accommodation at an East Lancashire holiday park.

Parkdean Resorts, The UK’s largest holiday park operator, has given a boost for tourism in Lancashire with the announcement of the investment for Todber Valley Holiday Park which is near Gisburn in the Ribble Valley.

The spend of £90,000 to install and upgrade accommodation is part of a £70 million investment in its business nationwide, and the award-winning company is now hiring for seasonal and full-time roles in the region.

Todber welcomed more than 2,500 guests in 2020, and as part of the investment, the park will benefit from a new, spacious, extra-wide caravan, in addition to the introduction of five upgraded caravans to replace existing fleet across the park.

Parkdean employs around 20 staff in season at Todber Valley, and the Park is currently hiring for a number of seasonal roles across sales, food and beverage, and housekeeping.
