Chrishell Stause dated Jason Oppenheim for months before going public

Chrishell Stause dated boss Jason Oppenheim for two months before going public with their relationship during European holiday

They went Instagram official this summer and have already made their red carpet debut as the new real estate power couple.

And Chrishell Stause admitted she dated boss Jason Oppenheim for two months before going public with their romance while on a European holiday.

The 40-year-old Selling Sunset Realtor kept her budding relationship with the top broker a secret in the beginning stages to weed out any ‘opinions’ or commentary while they got to know each other on a deeper level.

Just the two of us: Chrishell Stause admitted she dated boss Jason Oppenheim for two months before going public with their romance while on a European holiday; seen in August

‘It’s just one of those things,’ she told E! News. ‘You don’t want to share with everybody and get all their opinions before you really know what it is.’

‘We really were really private and secretive for as long as we could until we realized the walls were closing in. People were getting a little savvy to it.’

And things are clearly working out as she publicly revealed her love for The Oppenheim Group boss while on vacation in Italy.

‘We made it to a point where we’re really happy to share it because we knew exactly what it was, so it’s all good,’ she said.

Stripe out in a Missoni Mare top like Chrishell

Oh, how the other half live.

Selling Sunset fave Chrishell Stause recently lost her luggage, so she did what all of us would do and bought a whole new wardrobe, full of luxury label Missoni no less!

The brand’s famous chevron and colour popping prints have become somewhat of a steadfast summer trend.

As an Italian fashion house too, of course shopping Missoni in Italy is just as much a pastime as eating pizza in Positano – as she said she “HAD to”.

Let the stripes do the talking (FYI they say buy it) and let Chrishell sell her sunset attire to you by clicking (right).

Chrishell admitted her friend Mary Fitzgerald — who previously dated Jason — was the first to find out about their relationship.

‘We’re all just so close and we all work just so close together, and there’s no hiding it from Mary,’ she said. ‘We work together constantly. She’s our best friend.

‘In fact, it was fine that she knew because she could kind of help detract any [attention] because if Mary’s there we’re all just hanging out as a group.’

The former Dancing with the Stars contestant insisted there is no awkwardness between her, Mary and Jason, despite the pair’s dating history.

‘That was so many years ago,’ she said. ‘I just feel like, we’re all best friends at this point. Her and Romain [Bonnet] are so happy. It just feels like a family. It’s nice.’

It’s unclear if Stause and Oppenheim’s blossoming romance will be covered in the upcoming season, but during the explosive third season of Selling Sunset, Chrishell claimed her ex, Justin Hartley, informed her of his intent to divorce via text message, just 45 minutes before the heartbreaking news was made public.

The TV star also referred to Justin’s divorce filing as an ‘impulsive’ decision and that he would often use the same ‘I’m out’ approach during fights they had in the past.

A source told People at the time of their split that the pair had been having trouble for a while’ and were ‘fundamentally incompatible’ as a couple.
