Travel restrictions continue to apply during the pandemic. Always check the latest Foreign Office advice before booking or going on a trip abroad, as this will include important information such as a country’s entry rules (including whether you need to be vaccinated or have a PCR test), as well as local Covid rules you may need to be aware of when abroad.

Currently there are no countries on the UK’s red list, meaning you won’t need to stay in a quarantine hotel when back in the UK. If you’re fully vaccinated, you’ll need to take a PCR test or lateral flow test on day two of being back. If you’re unvaccinated or only partially vaccinated, you’ll need to take a pre-departure test and self-isolate for 10 days, along with PCR tests on days two and eight.
