There was no better way to spend one of your last few days of school holidays than at Edis Park last Wednesday where free camel rides were on offer.
This hump day had around 30 keen parents and kids line up at 10am keen to have a ride around the park.
Flynn O’Shanassy experienced his first ever camel ride and thought it was a very “fun”. He thinks he might try riding the hump-backed animal again in the future.
Mason Norris is an experienced rider of camels, with this being his third time, and says he will definitely do it again.
At one point one of the camels was a little peckish and decided to nibble leaves on a tree.
Echuca Billabong Ranch provided the camel ride service on the day, with PJ, one of the handlers, leading the pair around the park.
This was all part of the holiday program run by Campaspe Shire Council over the Easter school break.
